It's time for the next round of the LEA Artist-in-Residence Land Grants! The LEA Land Grant program seeks to promote and nurture the arts in Second Life, through a five-month land grant to recipients.
What better way to showcase the work of over 30 artists, performers, and machinimatographers, than with a month long celebration? The LEA Arts Festival features twenty sims of art installations, machinima screenings, artist talks, interviews, performances, classes and more! Opening day is Feb 2nd with a schedule of great events, listed below.

The LEA Land Grant is a program to distribute 20 regions generously donated by Linden Lab.
These regions are to be used to promote art and artistic endeavor in Second Life.
Full sims of virtual land are made available to in-world artists through an application process. Residencies on this land are for 5-6 months. Application cycles will be announced through various LEA channels, so stay tuned.
